We believe...

The Governor's Books from Birth Foundation works to foster a love of reading in the 375,000 Tennessee children under the age of five. Our goal is to see these children reading at grade level by the third grade, as research indicates that children who cannot reach this target reading level have continuing difficulties in school and are more likely to drop out of high school.
The cost of the program is only $27 per child, per year, which includes 12 hardcover, age-appropriate books, postage, shipping and handling. With the match grant program in place, county-wide Imagination Library programs will pay just $13.50 per child, per year!

High Hopes is a preschool for children from six weeks to five years who may be developing in a typical or an atypical curve. Occupational, speech and physical therapists work on site with both children in the preschool and children from the community to enhance cognitive, physical, and emotional/social development.

At HEOPS, we believe in community investment.
We believe in relationships that endure.
We believe in investing in community relationships through our Community Dollars program.
Pennies make dollars.
Within the past few years, HEOPS has assisted hospitals, health systems and integrated delivery systems with strategic and operational assistance that has allowed these entities to grow clinical programs, purchase diagnostic equipment, provide funds for staff raises and invest in community programs.
These are the real fruits of our labor...client success and community giving.
Reinvestment.
HEOPS has a strong commitment to community giving. We provide pro bono services to small healthcare agencies, provide patient advocacy services and support key organizations such as the Governor's Books from Birth program and High Hopes. Additionally we make available funds for Client directed giving.
Please take a moment to review the activities of the outstanding agencies and celebrate/support their achievements.
Warmest regards,
